Deuteronomio 33: Declarando palabras de fe sobre nuestro hogar.

Deuteronomio 33:26-29:
“¡No hay como el Dios de Jesurún! Él cabalga sobre los cielos en tu ayuda, y sobre las nubes en su majestad. El eterno Dios es tu refugio, y abajo están los brazos eternos. Él echará de delante de ti al enemigo, diciendo: ‘¡Destruye!’. Israel habitará confiado; el manantial de Jacob estará solitario en tierra de grano y de vino nuevo. También sus cielos gotearán rocío. ¡Bienaventurado eres tú, oh Israel! ¿Quién como tú, oh pueblo salvo por el SEÑOR, escudo de tu socorro y espada de tu excelencia? Tus enemigos tratarán de engañarte, pero tú pisotearás sus lugares altos”.

En el capítulo anterior leímos la declaración del cántico de Moisés a Israel acerca de las advertencias hacia el pueblo si se olvidan de Dios en la tierra prometida y sufrieran por su arrogancia.
Ahora leemos una declaración de bendición de parte de Moisés hacia el pueblo. Moisés, cómo padre y guía de Israel, sabía que el pueblo era un pueblo de duro corazón y que Dios le había anticipado que ellos se iban a desviar del camino. Sin embargo, aquí vemos a Moisés haciendo declaraciones positivas de bendición y prosperidad para cada tribu de Israel
Eso lo hizo cuando ya estaba a punto de morir. Moisés hizo algo muy similar a lo que hizo Jacob cuando estaba de edad avanzada y se acercaba el día de su muerte, él también bendijo a cada uno de sus hijos que después serían las grandes tribus que componen el pueblo de Dios, Israel.

Podemos reflexionar de esta acción noble y bondadosa de Moisés. A pesar de las muchas situaciones difíciles que el pueblo le hizo pasar, las constantes reprensiones que Moisés le daba al pueblo y las lágrimas que tuvo que llorar por ellos para que Dios los perdonara, Moisés expresó el deseo de su corazón y es que Dios bendiga grandemente a Israel cuando se establecieran en la tierra prometida y aprovecharan todas las riquezas que les ofrecía Dios con las montañas, el océano y toda la tierra en general.
Y todo esto ellos lo iban a recibir porque Moisés estaba seguro que Dios tenía muchos planes con Israel, y el Señor era su escudo y su espada para que fueran protegidos y tuvieran victoria sobre sus enemigos.

Moisés nos da un ejemplo a nosotros. De esa misma manera debemos proclamar bendiciones sobre nuestro hogar y sobre cada uno de los miembros que lo componen, sea a tu esposo o esposa y sobre tus hijos.
Nuestra naturaleza es mirar los defectos y errores que ellos cometen, nos desesperamos cuando hacen algo que no nos gusta y expresamos con frustración lo que no nos gusta de ellos, especialmente cuando toman alguna decisión en la que no estamos de acuerdo con ellos.
A veces nuestros hijos quieren explorar el mundo a su manera, saliéndose de los principios de vida que les hemos enseñado y comienzan a practicar cosas que sabemos que a Dios no le agrada.
En esos momentos, además de mostrarles el error en que están, también expresemos sobre ellos palabras de fe declarando que ellos son escogidos por Dios, y que Dios los usará de manera poderosa cuando ellos entreguen sus vidas al Señor. Recuérdales lo que Dios puede hacer en sus vidas si ellos deciden vivir bajo sus mandamientos.
Anima a tu esposo o esposa con expresiones de fe, transmitiendo sobre ellos la bendición de Dios, afirmándolos con los deseos de Dios sobre ellos, pues hemos visto que Dios está dispuesto y se alegra al bendecir a sus hijos que deciden caminar en fe.

A mí me gusta mucho las palabras del apóstol Juan a uno de sus apreciados colaboradores llamado Gayo, que está en 3 Juan 1:2: “Amado, mi oración es que seas prosperado en todas las cosas y que tengas salud, así como prospera tu alma.”
Y aunque Gayo era un hombre que estaba dando buen testimonio con su liderazgo, y aun así, Juan lo animó y le recordó que tenga cuidado de los malos ejemplos y se aparte del mal; leamos 3 Juan 1:11: “Amado, no imites lo que es malo sino lo que es bueno. El que hace lo bueno procede de Dios, pero el que hace lo malo no ha visto a Dios.”

Espero que Dios te dé sabiduría y mucha prudencia para poder utilizar las palabras adecuadas para corregir los malos comportamientos o hábitos, y también muchas palabras de ánimo y fe, usando las promesas del Señor, afirmando lo que Dios quiere hacer con tu familia.

Deuteronomy 33: Declaring words of faith over our home.

Deuteronomy 33:26-29:
“There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to help you, and in His excellency on the clouds. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, ‘Destroy!’ Then Israel shall dwell in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, in a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew. Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places.”

In the previous chapter we read the declaration of the song of Moses to Israel about the warnings towards the people if they forget God in the promised land and suffer for their arrogance.
We now read a declaration of blessing from Moses to the people. Moses, as father and guide of Israel, knew that the people were a people with a hard heart and that God had anticipated that they were going to deviate from the path. However, here we see Moses making positive declarations of blessing and prosperity for each tribe of Israel.
This he did when he was about to die. Moses did something very similar to what Jacob did when he was old and the day of his death was approaching, he also blessed each of his sons who would later be the great tribes that make up the people of God (Israel).

We can reflect on this noble and kind action of Moses. Despite the many difficult situations that the people put him through, the constant reprimands that Moses gave the people and the tears he had to cry for them so that God would forgive, Moses expressed the desire of his heart and that is that God bless greatly to Israel when they settled in the promised land and took advantage of all the riches that God offered them with the mountains, the ocean and the whole earth in general.
And they were going to receive all this because Moses was sure that God had many plans with Israel, and the Lord was their shield and their sword so that they would be protected and have victory over their enemies.

Moses sets an example for us. In the same way we must proclaim blessings on our home and on each of the members that compose it, be it your husband or wife and your children.
Our nature is to look at the flaws and mistakes that they make, we get desperate when they do something we don't like and we express with frustration what we don't like about them, especially when they make a decision in which we don't agree with them.
Sometimes our children want to explore the world in their own way, deviating from the principles of life that we have taught them and begin to practice things that we know that God does not like.
In those moments, in addition to showing them the mistake they are in, let us also express upon them words of faith declaring that they are chosen by God, and that God will use them in a powerful way when they give their lives to the Lord. Remind them of what God can do in their lives if they choose to live by His commandments.
Encourage your husband or wife with expressions of faith, transmitting God's blessing on them, affirming them with God's wishes upon them, because we have seen that God is willing and happy to bless His children who decide to walk in faith.

I really like the words of the apostle John to one of his esteemed associates named Gaius, which is in 3 John 1:2: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
And although Gaius was a man who was giving good testimony with his leadership, and even so, John encouraged him and reminded him to beware of bad examples and turn away from evil; let's read 3 John 1:11: “Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.”

I hope that God gives you wisdom and much prudence to be able to use the right words to correct bad behaviors or habits, and also many words of encouragement and faith, using the promises of the Lord, affirming what God wants to do with your family.
