Season 3: Episode 12
The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari empowers listeners to be resilient in life. Having the will to persevere and bounce back from difficult times can be challenging. With determination and inner strength, we can navigate through the tough times stronger than before.
Our first caller Paige is a college student and wonders how she can reduce her stress while still remain successful in school. Nancy offers tools for her to deal with procrastination and skills to help reduce her stress and set her up for success.
Our next caller Alex is having trouble balancing his work life and personal life. Nancy offers Alex a solution to write things down outside of work so that he won’t be stressed by needing to remember, which allows him to set his mind free.
Our inspirational guest Jodi Michele Cooley was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 32. After losing her ability to walk, Jodi found a way to remain resilient despite her disease. She experienced emotions ranging from crying spells to bouts of anger because of her debilitating condition. Jodi discusses with Nancy how she manages her symptoms by living in the present and remaining hopeful toward the future.
Nancy talks about the traits of a resilient person, and what it means to be flexible and vulnerable in order to have stronger and deeper connections. She points out that being honest with other people and yourself will allow them to understand your side of the story, as well as where you are coming from.
When we are resilient we can be optimistic even in times of pain and uncertainty. As we become stronger and more determined to remain positive the grasp of fear and suffering becomes weaker. By staying tenacious you can insure you will be living full out.
