2018.4.13
The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari wants to support you in moving on. Perhaps there was a time when you were in a toxic relationship or job environment. Maybe you left home for school or a career, but you found yourself missing what you left behind. Accepting change as a natural part of life can give you the right mindset to focus on what’s ahead instead. Exiting a bad situation is a form of self-love and can be the first step to greater success.
Our first caller is Natalie, who is struggling with balancing school, work, and going to the gym, all the while avoiding procrastination. Nancy shows Natalie how to schedule and prioritize her time for the most important things in life. She can leave space in her schedule for the unexpected. Natalie can also speak to herself more positively and use assertive words and phrases in order to prevent postponing her responsibilities.
Our second caller is Fiona, who is nervous about starting college next year, the amount of school work she will face, and making new friends. Nancy tells Fiona that she is more than capable of making it through by accepting that the demands of school and work will constantly be a challenge. Fiona can remind herself that she can tackle those demands again since she has in the past. Fiona can approach her life with more positivity and excitement by considering college a new adventure that will allow her to make life-long friends.
Our inspirational guest is Niki Cross. Niki is a survivor of abduction and sexual molestation that occurred when she was fifteen, until she was finally able to escape. Through Niki’s unimaginable experience, she was able to remain resilient. Niki learned acceptance by letting go of painful memories and growing as a stronger person.
Our last caller is Lisa, who spends the majority of her time working a job that she finds unenjoyable. Nancy advises Lisa to build a strategy to work towards her goals, which will allow her current work to have less control over her. Lisa can take the first few steps towards her dreams by starting a different career. She can reach out and ask those in her desired field how they got to where they are now.
Maybe you felt you were stuck in place while others around you made progress with their goals. Understanding what led to where you are and learning from those mistakes can start your journey to a bigger purpose. By recognizing what is holding you back, you can move on and live full out.
