hey guys welcome to the show and oh it's all been going on isn't it this terrible war in um Palestine and Israel it's just it really depressed me so much I've had to turn the news off so you know massive thoughts to all the civilians and there are very many of them so really not not pleasant I'm glad I'm not there you know there but for the grace of God really because you know war and economic upturn and um Fascist governments and ethnic cleansing and all these things you know they're only a generation Away really only a generation away and we have to be so so very careful so um anyway I thought well we'll have we'll have a bit of lighthearted um music today so another clip from Tamagotchi DJ played it hard um a couple of things I just wanted to advise you about today the I don't know how long this podcast will carry on going because the the hosts really don't like the format they don't like me putting free music on the end they hate it and they've closed me down about four times and I keep talking longer and longer because they want us to talk you see the advertisers like talking um which is why I talk I'd quite like to just give you the ring tones and it would save me so much time but I have put them I'm bu just building the website page where you can access these if you're a member and you can download them whenever you need and it comes with a little license and everything um so that's quite cool but you do have to sign up um it's $7.99 I think that's dollars though I think it's yeah I'm pretty sure it's dollars um which bit less in pounds um so there's about 450 of them um probably more actually if I can find the other file but I did have a computer meltdown um against my own advice of course of backing up um so I only play you know really just a few seconds like a jingle long to try and keep plate them but of course for a you know for if you're making a short you want a bit longer than 5 seconds and you don't want to just put this on repeat it would sound you know it's not it's not going to work with your video is it um so I'm sort of toying with the idea of um doing longer backing tracks on the website um and proper commissions of course you know if you want me to you know do a whole track for something I was just listening to one of my tracks called the planetarium it was a very difficult track and um I think I used hols planets but I I electrified them all so I put them all through loads and loads of really crazy synth effects and it sounds quite well very edgy of course and and it's quite difficult listening thought there's nothing on there I can use as a ringtone however because it's so diverse there are loads of sections that actually would work really really well for film and you know my first degree was in film and television and I come from a film background so you know this idea of making music for film would first started with you know making documentaries actually so I thought well it's quite interesting isn't it just because it's not popular on YouTube doesn't mean it's not popular elsewhere actually I think you can get it on my Pon five but you know the pon five thing if you're a musician I mean there's so many people doing it you really are not going to get seen very easily you know I mean I consider myself quite um an established musician really and it doesn't really do much for my career so um bit of advice there if you want anything longer of course you can commission me and we can talk talk about you know pricing and things and with and what your budget is if you're a filmmaker or whatever anyway let's have a look at our free download it's from my single Tamagotchi and um we're is a spoken word piece I think we discussed that earlier in the week so I won't talk too much about it but really easy all I'm doing now is sliding the select the selection tab where it goes yellow where put it on a loop I'm just sliding that along so that I get all these lovely samples out of it and it's the easiest way if you've got a good tune that's that varies throughout because a a normal tune in know pop record it's not going to vary that much you might only get three or four Loops out of it but spoken word is quite a different matter I mean the music in this is um the same all the way through but the words of course are very diverse so here we go DJ played it hard this is free to
