Charlotte Love is our very special guest on our first episode back from our August time off and very early on we learn Charlotte has always been active. Having completed 19 full
marathons plus 2 Boston marathons and countless other ways of staying active. As a little girl, sometimes Charlotte would take the golf balls as a joke or play tag at night with a bunch of other neighbourhood kids, always on the move. Charlotte talks about how she seems to resolve some of her issues during her long slow runs and how she comes up with some great ideas at the same time. Charlotte teaches at Riverview High and gets involved in all kinds of activities at the school. She has been running for close to 50 years, and at the age of 40 started running marathons, her first in Ottawa. We start talking about the children she teaches and the Yoga class she teaches at school and how important charlotte believes this is. We really get into things and we discuss what we think needs to be done to help the
kids lead an active and healthy life. We get some amazing insight from Charlotte and she just will not give up on teaching children. Once you hear more of Charlotte's background, you will understand why. Lastly, we chat about the business Charlotte and her sister started and it's called Mount Pleasant Events.
