WEEK 15: DAY 1
DON'T FORGET!

Deuteronomy 8:11-18
Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His precepts, and His statutes which I command you today,
Lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses and live in them,
And when your herds and flocks multiply and your silver and gold is multiplied and all you have is multiplied,
Then your [minds and] hearts be lifted up and you forget the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage,
Who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water, but Who brought you forth water out of the flinty rock,
Who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and test you, to do you good in the end.
And beware lest you say in your [mind and] heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.
But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Don't forget!

Isn't it strange how we are quick to forget the process when we have arrived at the destination?

When i got this message, i sincerely wasn't sure of the direction. I mean, in my country at the moment, we are really in a rough place and i expected some words of assurance in a certain way.

However, while i studied and listened and write, i realized there is a bigger picture in this, one that asks you not to lose focus on Who has started with you nor lose sight of Who He is, regardless of whatever part of the process you may find yourself.

In the journey of life, there are 3 core stages - the beginning, the leading and the ending; the autumn, the winter and the summer; the raining, the sunny and the harmattan; the sowing, the growing and the reaping; yada yada.

Sometimes, it is difficult to explicitly state what season you are in, however, all seasons are just as important. More importantly, is Who has your wheel of control.

Don't Forget!
I have heard of a term, 'self-made'. For the life of me, i still do not understand the concept because you really can't do bad all by yourself. No matter how small your circle is, how unavailable you believe help was for you, you wouldn't be where you are now without HELP!

If you are at the stage you need help, put into perspective a throwback on the Help within you, the Help with you and the Help for you. Remember!

If you are at the stage you have scaled through, succeeded and at ease, don't forget! Don't let pride take the place of worship.

I pray today that in whatever way God is trying to realign your focus, you allow His Revelation flood in you His Light in Jesus name, amen.
