This week we're staying on a summery theme with hitchhiker murders! These cases include more than one serial killer, lots of teenagers (very unfortunately), and a cold case solved after 40 years by one of Cindy's friends (in part 2, so come back in a few days and check it out)!!

These cases will show you just how dangerous it is to hitchhike, and also, how common it was, especially in the 70's. Cindy was in very real danger of becoming a never born person when her own father was picked up by a creepy guy in a pickup truck in the early 70's - luckily he jumped out in the knick of time, but sadly, many youths just like him were not so lucky. We cover some of these horrible, cautionary tales, not just because it's a great topic, but to remind you to walk, take the bus, or drive yourself, but in the interest of staying off our lists, don't ever, ever hitchhike!!!
