show moreThen In Romans 8:31 the Holy Spirit writing through the Apostle Paul asked a question. If God is for you, who can be successful against you? The Answer Is No One, Since God Is for You. This is an Affirmation the Holy Spirit.
Then to Make Sure You Understand That God Is for You the Holy Spirit Reminds you that: God who did not spare even his own son, but gave Him up force all, and He Also, along with Him, Graciously Gives You All Things. (Romans 8:32)
Since God has manifested so Much Love to draw you and call you to Faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, Who is all the while effectually at work in you, energizing and creating in you the power and desire, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
(Philippians 2:13)
The Holy Spirit is making very clear that no one can bring a charge against God's elect, You His Chosen Child. When It Is God Who Justifies You, Declaring You Blameless and Putting You in the Right Relationship with Himself. (Romans 8:33)
The Holy Spirit then asked the question in verse 34: Who Is the One Who Condemns you? In Asking the Question He's Telling you that No One Condemned you. For in Romans 8:1-2, The Spirit of God Tells You Directly and Frankly: There Is No Condemnation, No Guilty Verdict, No Punishment for you herein Christ Jesus, Who Believe in Him as your personal LORD and Savior. For the Law of the Spirit of Life which is in Christ Jesus, the Lord your new be, Has Set You Free from the law of sin and death.
What the law could not, that is overcome sin and remove its penalty and its power, because it was weak by man's flesh in nature without the Holy Spirit, God did: He Sent His Own Son in the Likeness of Sinful Man As an Offering for Sale. And Thus He Condemned Sin in the Flesh, He Subdued and Overcame in the Person of His Own Son, Jesus Christ. So Now the Just and Righteous Requirement of the Law Has Been fulfilled in you who have been born of the Spirit of God, for Now Your Life is Now Live by the Prompting in Ways of the Spirit, Guided by His Power. (Romans 8:3-4, John 3:5-7)
It is are no longer living in the flesh, controlled by the sinful nature, but in the Spirit, if in Fact the Spirit of God Lives in You, Directing and Guiding. The Very Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. And the Spirit Himself Testifies Confirms Together with Your Own Spirit, Assuring You That You Are a Child of God, and He is With you, For you and Acts on your Behalf. (Romans 8:9-10, 17)
2. God is with you.
The LORD is with you, He Never Leaves you Nor Forsakes you, He Tells you to be Strong and Courageous. He commands you, to Be strong, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:5,9; Hebrews 13:5)
So you can take comfort and be encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The LORD is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm. I will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to me? Psalms 27:1, 118:6, Hebrews 13:6
You can say, with David: THE LORD is my Light and my Salvation–whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
The LORD is on my side and takes my part, He is among those who help me; therefore I see my desire established upon those who hate me. It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:7-8
3. God Acts on your behalf
For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seenseen a God besides You, Who works and shows Himself active on behalf of him who earnestly waits for Him!. Isaiah 64:4
As it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for you who love Him. He reveals them to you through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. I Corinthians 2:9-10
The Key is to Wait and Hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. Psalm 27:14
When you wait for the LORD, you Expect, Look for, and Hope in Him to Renew your Strength and Power, making you ready and equal to anything through Him Infusing Inner Strength into you. For you are Filled with All the Fullness of God, who lives in you. You run and are not weary, you walk and do not faint or become tired, by virtue of you being in the LORD Jesus Christ.-Hebrews 12:1-3, Isaiah 40:31, Philippians 4:13, Ephesians 3:19, Ephesians 2:6
God wants you to Depend and Rely on Him, to Trust in Him. – Dismiss Self-Reliance upon self, self-governance, and EMPTYING your carnal ego. This EXALTS the LORD as your ALL IN ALL and prompts the Gift of His Fullness in You as a Believer.
Put Him First in everything you do. Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his Direction in ALL you Do, in all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths to take. Proverbs 3:5-6
Fix your eyes on the LORD Jesus, looking away from all that will distract to Him, looking completely away from this world – and to the upcoming redemption of your body. Hebrews 12:2
