This is in our home state, OH J.D. Vance would want women to stay with an abusive husband because he’s not sure divorce would make them or their children happier. Yes, J.D. Vance made this ridiculous claim without a moment's hesitation--he means it. It fits in well with Vance's general disdain for women, his opposition to the Violence Against Women Act, equal pay for women and of course his wish to have absolute control women's bodies, telling you when to reproduce, when you must have children and who you should love. Vance is a bottom-dwelling dictator-in-waiting, a power-lusting leech who sees bashing women (both figuratively and literally, apparently) as his path to power. The comical part about JD's talk is he decried how we "shift spouses like we change underwear," yet he still has the 45th's endorsement tweet pinned to the top of his page, The guy who had five kids with three wives, cheated on all of them quite publicly, his most recent one with a star while she was home with their couple-month old child.
