Remember that night when you fell in love at the drive-in theater? Some of you may not remember or even know what a drive-in theater is. It’s a drive-in movie where you drove up outdoors to a big movie screen to watch a drive-in movie in your car. For some of you, it may have been your first date. For you, it could have been really romantic and fun. Drive-in movies were around for a long time for a number of years. There are some still around. I remember them from the 1970’s.
I remember the drive-in movies where people showed affection with their arms around each other. And most of all, I remember sounds from the radio when they played hits like “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love” by the Spinners. A 1972 song recorded by the group. I’m Gail Nobles and you’re listening to The Classic Waves.
