It's never good to get caught with your pants down UNLESS it's with someone of the stature of this week's guest!
Jim Piddock joined the fellas in the Lounge this week! WHAT, you don't know the name? Honestly, according to Jim, very few know the name! MOST people will recognize him, but won't know from where, and he has a good story about that topic!
Let's just say, in the words of Little Matt, there's a 90% chance you've seen Jim in one of your favorite TV shows or movies!
We're going to list a very few of the movies/shows in which he's appeared:
Independence Day, Multiplicity, Coach (TV), Friends (TV), Lethal Weapon 2, The Drew Carey Show (TV), Best in Show, The Haunting of Bly Manor (TV), Modern Family (TV), Austin Powers: Goldmember, Two and a Half Men (TV), That 70s Show (TV)... the list continues, and we could fill another two pages!
He is also an author! His book, "Caught with My Pants Down and Other Tales from a Life in Hollywood" is out now, and chronicles his many different experiences in his acting career!
With such a resume, you might think Jim could be a little stand-offish, and that could NOT be further from the truth. From the start, when Sam talks about Jim being in Best of Show, with Fred Willard, the conversation is SO SMOOOOOTH! Jim embraces the conversation and talks about shooting the movie with Fred, and Christopher Guest.
The topic goes to how Jim started acting, and his original thought of what he would do with his life... hint, it wasn't acting!
He talks about getting butterflies, one of his worst experiences in a role (while still enjoying the product of it later in life), his favorite teams (soccer & baseball), and his thoughts on the NFL.
This hangout was an absolute treat for the guys! Jim apologizes at one point near the end, and it was quickly explained that there was nothing which to apologize!
Jim also shares about where the proceeds from the sales of his book will go, and why! Jim Piddock, while an amazing actor, shows that he is also an amazing human being! It is VERY easy to see why he's been in the game for so long!
SO, sit back, relax and enjoy the time the guys spent with actor, author, and all-around great person, Jim Piddock!
