This week is YET ANOTHER great conversation that could've gone on for hours! Jeff Rasley (pronounced RACE-lee), came into the Lounge and just dropped SO MANY stories onto the guys! Author of, "You Have to Get Lost Before You Can Be Found: A Memoir of Suffering, Grit, and Love of the Himalayas and Basa Village," Jeff is LOADED to the gills with things to talk about!

Jeff, once the head of a small law firm, decided he was going to quit practicing and start a not-for-profit organization to help a tribe in the Himalayas! After visiting a few different times, Jeff fell in love with the area and decided that he would use his know-how to raise money to allow the Basa Village people to build necessities for life! He tells great stories of he came about to doing this, along with great stories that made him fall for the village and make helping them his life work!

The guys bring up some of his other books, including the fictional story about the 1969 University of Chicago football team, and how they were going through so much more than just playing a football season! Jeff also pulls some off HIS OWN experience of being a member of the UC football team!

Little Matt brings up another of Jeff's books that recalls the stories of close encounters with VERY LARGE sea mammals! BOTH stories are incredible! There is so much more, but it would take FOREVER for you to read it, so the guys suggest sitting back, relaxing, and go #grabalisten!
