Aquí te va una nueva palabra, nomofobia, se conformó por sus siglas en inglés de “no-mobile-phone-phobia” y describe el miedo irracional a estar sin el teléfono celular. Este fenómeno afecta a diversas personas, pero especialmente a adolescentes y jóvenes que, al no tener el aparato experimentan síntomas de abstinencia como ocurre con la adicción a sustancias; en ello priorizan su uso sobre las responsabilidades e interacciones personales. Pero detrás de la nomofobia existen problemas de autoestima y la búsqueda de gratificación instantánea al dar “like” o comentar.
