Logline: The Garbage Man is an animated documentary short, based on interviews I did with my family about my uncle Manuel Botão, who worked as a garbage man in France for 30 years.
The memories are explored through animation and moving painting, taking us on a journey between the present at the table, and the past of remembrance, during a family lunch on a hot summer afternoon in Belmonte.
