show moreBasically a bride took to TikTok to post a ton of videos to lay out a dispute she had with a photographer... and these videos went viral!
The bride had hired a photographer for her destination wedding. She flew her out, the photographer took photos from the night before and the day of the wedding.
Depending on who's side of the story you believe, about a week or so after the photographer delivered the photos to the bride, she started complaining about the editing of the photos.
She eventually stated in one of her videos that they look like they had all been edited using a "Sepia" tone... hence the name of this whole debacle.
The photographer edited a few but the bride eventually asked for all of the RAW (unedited) photos.
When the photographer came back with a purchase price of $3k for all of the RAW photos. The bride then went crazy on TikTok and the internet has been divided on who's side to take!
In this episode of The Legal Babe Podcast, I'll be breaking down what happened between the bride and photographer and, more importantly, what photographers can learn from this situation on how to prevent this from happening to you.
Plus, I'll break down four legal clauses that should absolutely be in your Photography Services Agreement to best protect you.
