When we get clobbered by life we tend to feel and see the ramifications in all areas and aspects of our personal world. So let's talk about how we can face the things and circumstances that have caused us so much pain and rebuild through healing and acceptance of the facts and the truth. Our host, Natasha Foreman, shares her experiences, lessons learned, and the ups and downs of trying to grieve and heal through her own divorce, the numerous deaths of loved ones, the loss of a business, health scares, and other devastating events that she has experienced.
Episode 75 discusses the foundational truths that we stand on to rebuild, we examine the stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. There are plenty of us that are in denial about our grief and we get angry when someone identifies it and expresses their concerns. This episode outlines some key areas that we should pay close attention to as we grieve, heal, and rebuild: career/business, social media, news/media, personal interactions, and how we spend our time and the environments we choose. We discuss the power of hope, our thoughts, and how they help with our healing. It's a candid look at something facing many of us, and when we choose to hide from it and not speak openly about it, we further give power to the shadows that haunt millions of people each day.
So join us in this episode as we explore this and more. One of many talks we hope to have through this podcast. And of course, after spending time talking about hope, we shouted out some cool people and businesses that we hope you will support.
