Today we are connecting with our first guest- Yiyun Kang, a leading media Korean artist who generates environmental moving image works and delivers Spatio-temporal narratives that challenge the dualistic thoughts.

Not only being an artist, Kang is a Visiting Lecturer in Information Experience Design specializing in projected moving-image works at Royal College of Art.

Based in Hong Kong, I was lucky enough to see her work featured in the group show Korea: Cubically Imagined, an immersive exhibition with Korean culture contents within the symbolic space of cube through integration with immersive and technology. Kang’s work, Beyond the Scene which was created for the global project CONNECT BTS was included in this exclusive exhibition. Enjoy!
