She is a full time autism advocate, vlogger and author, of the book “The Son I Almost Gave Away”.
The book is a memoir about her brain injured child, who at seven years of age was facing being medicated and placed into an institutional setting.
After putting him on Empower Plus he underwent a miraculous recovery, now 20 years old – living financially independently – he’s an artist and entrepreneur.
Carol has been in the field of integrative medicine and wellness for roughly 28 years. She is considered an invaluable resource, scientist and researcher within both the medical field and integrative platforms in the area of autism education, naturopathic medicine and orthomolecular psychiatry.
Carol now serves as a mentor, advocate, educator, and vlogger via her YouTube channel Mindful Divergence. Known as one of the leading authorities in identifying adult autism spectrum disorders in marginalized people groups, she helps individuals navigate the diagnostic process for autism, and life after diagnosis.
Carol is the founder of ASD Village on Facebook, where autistics from across the world have been able to find their voice and feel a deep sense of connection and belonging.
