She is a proud first-generation Chinese-American immigrant as her parents immigrated to the United States with their parents in the 1960s after the Second World War. While this was recorded a few days before the racially motivated murders of East Asian womxn in Atlanta, we talked about the rise of anti-Asian racist incidents.
