The Snowtown Murders are among Australia’s most horrific and chilling true crime stories. Over a span of several years, a group of individuals carried out a series of brutal killings in the quiet, rural town of Snowtown, South Australia. The victims, often vulnerable or marginalized, were lured into the grip of a group that preyed upon their trust, before being tortured and murdered in unimaginable ways. The bodies were then stored in barrels, which were found in an abandoned bank vault in 1999, leading to the grim discovery of the murders.
