Carmen Lerma, has over 20 years organizing events and is currently the Director of Corporate and Community Events at UMOS, Inc. for 11 years and also the Executive Assistant to the President, Lupe Martinez. Carmen shares her experience on coordinating several community events that she is in charge of such as UMOS FunFest, Cerveceros Tailgate, Back to School fair, Mexican Independence Parade & Festival and the Breakfast with Santa.

Carmen also speaks on her battle with COVID-19, double lung transplant and recovery Journey.

& Prior to this, She worked as the Special Events Director for Discovery World and also in the Corporate Relations Department at Miller Brewing Co. where she represented the company on a National level by organizing participation with National Organization tradeshows, events and conventions such as LULAC, NCLR now known as UNIDOS US, NAACP and National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to name a few. Carmen has also been assigned by the National Office as one of the key contacts in Milwaukee to help with the planning and execution of the 2019 LULAC National Convention.
