Is thinking "and" more powerful than "or" thinking?
When you're talking with a friend or colleague and you don't agree with them, do you use "yes but", instead of simply saying no? That is quite a common thing to do, but most of the time it doesn't lead to anything productive. Instead, it creates friction and frustration.
However, there is another alternative to it.
In this episode, we are unpacking the "and" vs "or" thinking in various circumstances, from friends' discussions to job feedback and anything in between.
We are also curious about what you think. Join our discussion group on Studylia.com/friends-dont-say and let us know what you think about this topic.
