This same thought is echoed in Shikhar Gosh's Harvard Business School study that indicated that "75 percent of venture-backed startups fail." The one shining light in these dismal facts is that mentors can improve a startups chances of success. Sheila Eugenio of Entrepreneur.com stated that "70 percent of mentored businesses survive longer than five (5) years."
