show moreThe Atlanta native began her journey when she found her love and music at the age of two and encouraged her parents to pursue it after placing her in a traveling youth choir in middle school. Nadia also created small productions with the neighborhood kids and her sisters. However, Nadia briefly went down a path of self-sabotage and destruction after her mother’s suicide.
Eventually, Nadia Veah returned to songwriting and performing. Her music has been played on the United States and international radio. Her music has been praised by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, AudioFemme, Dark Beauty Magazine, Music Connection Magazine, Parade, and PopWrapped.
Through her music, she donated proceeds through a plethora of non-profits. Nadia's non-profits throughout her career include Alliance of Hope, the Human Rights Campaign, MusicCares, and The Trevor Project.
In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Nadia Vaeh spoke about her career in the recording industry. She also spoke about the stories behind some of her songs, including “Never Leave the Basement,” “Anxiety,” “Boomerang,” and “Snake Lady.”
