Description
Did you know that the red blood cells that serve as the building blocks for baby are formed in the mom 120 days prior? Said another way, what you were...
show moreIt was an absolute pleasure to talk with Dr. Liz, not only because of the incredibly valuable information she shared, but also because it was fun to reconnect! Dr. Liz and I actually went to the same church growing up. I know she was one of the characters in the first Christmas play I ever participated in (and yes, I still watch that VHS video at Christmas time!). I am thankful for Dr. Liz’s expertise in helping women care for their bodies and the bodies of their future babies.
Here are the take-aways:
-Optimal baby health starts BEFORE baby comes
-What you were doing 3-4 months ago affects the building blocks of baby
-Core components of preconception health include clean eating, toxin-free products, sleep, exercise, having a grateful mindset, and decreasing stress
-Focus on 3 things you did great today - keep a “ta-da” list instead of a “to-do” list
-Chiropractic care is at the center of preconception health at Nourish Family Wellness. Chiropractic helps your brain talk to your body so it can heal on its own
-If you’re thinking about your preconception health, a good place to start is with stress relief and thankfulness
-The Twinkle Care Program is geared to optimize the health of women before baby is “a twinkle in your eye”
-Celebrate your nourishing and nurturing capacity as a woman!
