Dave Wilber returns to the EW Podcast to continue the important conversation about the impact of irrigation water on your soils program and the health of your plants. He tells some interesting stories about the importance of flushing a soil, and shares some of his clients' experiences pushing salts out of the soil. We talk about “the Art of Watering” and how to help someone understand how to water properly. We go through the chemistry of really clean or “stripping” water, and discuss how to manage it. Water Testing Part 2 has a lot of technical talk. However, there are a lot of common sense tips to help everyone using irrigation water, regardless of crop, understand the impact irrigation water has on your plant material.
