It is important in every relationship that proper expectations and commitments are maintained. As the journey we are undertaking is one of self-discovery and growth, the expectations and commitments being taken on are towards your own self. Exclusively.
Building a positive relationship with yourself requires intention, it requires sacrifice. Yet making a safe place in your heart and life for your own self to show up is the most important thing a person could ever do. Both for himself, and those he dearly loves.
It is never too late to start, though it never feels like quite the right time, to give yourself fully to the pursuit of your own heart. So, might as well just jump right in. The water's fine. :-)
