Issue 17: May 2023
Our first feature, from Disconnected in 2050, is from the team of Europod. Disconnected in 2050 follows the life of Ezra, who lives in a metaverse called ‘Infinity.’ One day, she discovers from archived documents that hint at Infinity not being the utopia it portrays itself to be.
Our second feature is from a Bear Radio original series: Berlin Bigwigs. As we begin to emerge from our winter slumber and begin living it up in the sun or on the dancefloor - or both - we revisit our piece on the global touchstone that is Berghain. In the episode Jill and Julia speak to a former Berghain bouncer about the space, why people love it, the atmosphere, the energy, the music, and how to get in!
Our theme music is from Lucas Carey, with audio from Epidemic Sound. Cover art by Sian Amber Fletcher.
This episode is brought to you by Bear Radio.
If you’re a producer based in Europe and have an idea for an URSA story, we’d love to hear from you! We’re always accepting new pitches.
