International Connection Radio help celebrate the first anniversary of the Feilding Country Music Group in Feilding, New Zealand. The group meets in the St John's Hall on Bowen Street monthly, but on 10th June, they held a dinner and cut a beautiful cake to say thank you for marking a year with group members. Founder and Country music advocate, John de Burgh, was happy with the turnout and told American Journalist Victoria Gaither, country music isn't dead! We also spoke with long time supporter Dottie Sutherland who praised John for his hard work and love of country music. Plus, band member, Antonio Orr talks about why he loves the group. The FCMG meets every second Friday of each month except January. Check out www.nzcmr.com for more information and a list of events.
