Today on Feminine Roadmap guest Keisha Blair shares her story of how to make sense of life when it doesn’t make sense. Tragedy struck when Keisha’s husband died suddenly 8 weeks after their second child was born and everything she knew changed in an instant. This life altering set back put her on a path to find a way to make sense of the tragedy, one that didn’t even make sense to the doctors, to find her path back to wholeness again. Keisha decided to take a one year sabbatical from her job, move to an island and take the time to navigate through her grieving process. The lessons she learned from taking a step back and stepping away, trusting her intuition to guide her, ended up being the foundation to making sense of life when it no longer made sense. Keisha encourages listeners traveling a rocky, confusing road to not abandon the mess and to remember that the situation is temporary, that it doesn’t have to define you. She says, “When you go through something like that, where you think ‘Wow’, it just blows you away and it shatters your world…you really have to take a step back, to think about it. What do I now? And what have I just really gone through?” When you’ve gone through it, it may seem like it has defined you, it doesn’t have to. It will get better and change and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. So if you find yourself in the midst of trying to make sense of your life and figuring out how to walk in your purpose, grab a cuppa something wonderful, listen in and trust the process. www.feminineroadmap.com/episode 133/
