Statement on the Genocide in Gaza
I will start off by quoting from Jewish Voices for Peace “There is no justification in international law for the targeting of civilians or the holding of civilian hostages. That was true when Hamas attacked Israeli civilians We must apply that same standard to the Israeli military” (https://www.jewishvoiceforpeace.org/resource/ceasefire/)
The ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is a horrifying atrocity. The people of Gaza are in desperate need of humanitarian aid. We must implore our elected officials to demand an immediate ceasefire and end to this genocide. Palestinians must have the right, like everyone else, to live in safety and peace with their families and loved ones free from this brutal occupation.
