Gabe is the youngest artist in the competition this season. His first taste of performing came when he joined Rock Camp, and he later had the opportunity to play at a music festival in Louisiana alongside his idol, Marc Broussard (no relation). In 2011, Gabe discovered he had a rare eye condition, Juvenile X-linked Retinoschisis, meaning his retina is separated into two separate layers. Gabe isn't sure what will happen since a small percentage of people with the condition become legally blind by age 40, but he is making the most of the eyesight he has now.
