On this episode of Generation Red: A Husker Podcast, Scott and I lick our self-inflicted wounds, brought on by Kool-Aid fueled belief that things in Lincoln had changed for the better. From looking absolutely potent on their first offensive drive, to the inconsistency that plagued Thompson and Company in the 2nd Half, it appears as though 2022 will be no different from the historic crap-fest that was 2021.

Oh, but they are sooooooooo close! Anyone else tired of hearing THAT?

We look back and then look forward to what should be a "get right" game against the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota this next Saturday. (Thank God it isn't that other North Dakota school.) But with a demoralized team, jet lag, and a head coach who still couldn't stay away from calling a bad play at a bad time, anything can happen. And probably will.
