Episode LXVIII (68): LOVE HARD(Y) - We are extremely excited and truly honored to have the talented singer/songwriter/story teller and recording artist Chris Hardy joining us LIVE in studio tonight. Hardy’s originally scheduled Galactic Coast Power Hour appearance during our special September Singer/Songwriter/Storyteller Showcase series was flooded out and the followup makeup appearance got postponed by an exciting World Series-related opportunity. So tonight is the night for the much anticipated appearance of this hardworking Texas Songwriter with a deep voice and even deeper lyrics. From his time with the notorious bad boys of Houston, Erase The Virus (ETV) known for their outlandish stage show and lifestyle, to fronting his own band of all star performers to sharing his gift during thousands of solo performances at (seemingly) ever stage from Minute Maid Park to Galveston (including every brewery and most venues in between) to spearheading the “Will Play For Food” charity concert series and CD releases benefitting the Houston and Galveston Food Banks, there is no doubting Hardy’s talent, drive and Heart. Listen in as we dig into many topics including influences, songwriting, performing, collaborations, touring, recording, promoting and much more with the fella our first Singer/Songwriter/Storyteller Showcase series guest Matt Cash called “the most talented songwriter I know.” If we are lucky, Hardy might even play a couple tunes for us.
