Génesis 5: Vive en integridad y bendice tu descendencia.

Vamos a leer los últimos versos de este capítulo. No olvides leer todo el capítulo completo.

Génesis 5:21-32 RVA2015:
21 Cuando Enoc tenía sesenta y cinco años, engendró a Matusalén. 22 Enoc caminó con Dios trescientos años después de engendrar a Matusalén, y engendró hijos e hijas. 23 Todos los años de Enoc fueron trescientos sesenta y cinco años. 24 Caminó, pues, Enoc con Dios y desapareció, porque Dios lo llevó consigo.
25 Cuando Matusalén tenía ciento ochenta y siete años, engendró a Lamec. 26 Matusalén vivió después de engendrar a Lamec setecientos ochenta y dos años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 27 Todos los años de Matusalén fueron novecientos sesenta y nueve, y murió.
28 Cuando Lamec tenía ciento ochenta y dos años, engendró un hijo, 29 y llamó su nombre Noé diciendo: “Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras y de la penosa labor de nuestras manos, a causa de la tierra que el SEÑOR maldijo”. 30 Lamec vivió después de engendrar a Noé quinientos noventa y cinco años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 31 Todos los años de Lamec fueron setecientos setenta y siete, y murió.
32 Cuando Noé tenía quinientos años, engendró a Sem, a Cam y a Jafet.


La tierra comenzó a degradarse rápidamente después de la caída del hombre. Los descendientes de Caín se habían degradado tanto que estaban cometiendo asesinatos.
En este capítulo vemos a los descendientes de Set, otro hijo que Dios le dio a Adán y Eva, que comenzaron a acercarse al Dios de sus antepasados. Posiblemente, ellos fueron testigos de la destrucción gradual de la tierra al ver poco a poco como se degradaron, y era más difícil cada día sembrar y cosechar, ellos veían cómo los seres vivientes, poco a poco, iban perdiendo la vitalidad y la salud, a medida que sus días de vida se iban acortando.
Posiblemente, veían cómo sus parientes, los hijos de Caín, también se estaban degradando, haciendo lo malo y viviendo cada día que pasaba en caos, crímenes y pecados.
Pero en medio de esta línea genealógica leemos la vida de un hombre que se destacó grandemente en medio de sus contemporáneos. Enoc fue alguien que vivió de forma diferente. No se conformaba con ser alguien "bueno", Enoc sobresalía por su forma ejemplar de vivir.
Posiblemente, él tomó esa decisión cuando se convirtió en padre, pues la Biblia dice que después que engendró a Matusalén fue que comenzó a caminar con Dios. Cuando uno comienza una familia, usualmente, la persona piensa mucho cómo va a vivir para poder darle un buen ejemplo a sus hijos.
Enoc desarrolló una relación muy cercana con Dios, al punto que Dios se lo llevó para la eternidad, él no pasó por el proceso humano de la muerte.
Hoy Enoc nos enseña la importancia de esforzarnos a mantenernos puros y limpios, y que sí se puede, a pesar de la sociedad o el mundo en que vivimos; no importando que otros vivan a su manera y no les importe agradar a Dios.
No solo Enoc se ganó un lugar especial ante los ojos de Dios, sino que también bendijo con sus acciones y testimonio a su familia. Enoc fue el abuelo de Lamec y bisabuelo de Noé. Lamec llamó a su hijo Noé porque profetizó que él sería un instrumento en las manos de Dios para traer alivio y consolación a la humanidad que había sufrido maldición por causa de la caída de Adán y Eva.
Noé fue como el mesías, el salvador de la humanidad cuando cayó el diluvio sobre la tierra. Noé es una figura representativa de Jesucristo quien nos salvó de la condenación del pecado.
Así que, si tu vives como una persona íntegra, vas a favorecer a tu familia con bendiciones derramadas por Dios, y tu descendencia serán personajes que harán proezas en las manos de Dios.

Bendice a tu familia ahora y aun después de que ya no estés sobre esta tierra. Dale la mejor herencia a tu familia, un buen nombre, un buen ejemplo y la gracia de Dios sobre ellos por medio de tu vida íntegra.

Ahora, escudriñemos más a fondo. Usemos hoy el método de estudio llamado VISUALÍZALO. Imagina cómo sería la vida de Enoc en ese tiempo, y cómo sería su consagración al Señor.

Genesis 5: Live in integrity and bless your offspring.

Let's read the last verses of this chapter. Don't forget to read the entire chapter.

Genesis 5:21-32 NLT:
When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah. After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch lived in close fellowship with God for another 300 years, and he had other sons and daughters. Enoch lived 365 years, walking in close fellowship with God. Then one day he disappeared, because God took him.
When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech. After the birth of Lamech, Methuselah lived another 782 years, and he had other sons and daughters. Methuselah lived 969 years, and then he died.
When Lamech was 182 years old, he became the father of a son. Lamech named his son Noah, for he said, “May he bring us relief from our work and the painful labor of farming this ground that the Lord has cursed.” After the birth of Noah, Lamech lived another 595 years, and he had other sons and daughters. Lamech lived 777 years, and then he died.
After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.


The earth began to degrade rapidly after the fall of man. Cain's descendants had become so degraded that they were committing murder.
In this chapter we see the descendants of Seth, another son that God gave to Adam and Eve, who began to approach the God of their ancestors.
Possibly, they witnessed the gradual destruction of the earth as they saw little by little how they degraded, and it was more difficult every day to sow and harvest, they saw how living beings, little by little, were losing vitality and health, as their days of life grew shorter.
Possibly, they saw how their relatives, the sons of Cain, were also degrading, doing evil and living each passing day in chaos, crimes and sins.
But in the middle of this genealogical line we read the life of a man who stood out greatly among his contemporaries. Enoch was someone who lived differently. He was not satisfied with being someone "good", Enoch stood out for his exemplary way of living.
Possibly, he made that decision when he became a father, because the Bible says that after he fathered Methuselah he began to walk with God. When you start a family, you usually think a lot about how you are going to live so that you can set a good example for your children.
Enoch developed a very close relationship with God, to the point that God took him for eternity, he did not go through the human process of death.
Today Enoch teaches us the importance of making an effort to keep ourselves pure and clean, and that it can be done, despite the society or the world in which we live; not caring that others live their way and don't care about pleasing God.
Not only did Enoch earn a special place in the eyes of God, but he also blessed his family with his actions and testimony. Enoch was the grandfather of Lamech and the great-grandfather of Noah. Lamech named his son Noah because he prophesied that he would be an instrument in the hands of God to bring relief and consolation to mankind who had been cursed by the fall of Adam and Eve.
Noah was like the messiah, the savior of humanity when the flood fell on the earth. Noah is a representative figure of Jesus Christ who saved us from the condemnation of sin.
So, if you live as a person of integrity, you will favor your family with blessings poured out by God, and your offspring will be characters who will perform prowess in the hands of God.
Bless your family now and even after you are no longer on this earth. Give the best inheritance to your family, a good name, a good example and the grace of God upon them through your whole life.

Now, let's scrutinize deeply. Today let's use the study method called VISUALIZE IT. Imagine what Enoch's life would be like at that time, and what his consecration to the Lord would be like.
