Germany, one of the biggest proponents of going green, has decided to shelve their ambitions of green energy, at least for now, and started firing up their coal power plants once again. Germany, as well as many other nations in Eastern Europe, is reliant on Russia for gas and since that tap has been turned off, they have scrambled to find a reliable replacement.
