God is faithful, reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our LORD. (1 Corinthians 1:9)

Throughout the Bible, you can find evidence that God keeps His promises. The pages of the Old and New Testaments are layered with prophesies of the good things God has promised and fulfilled throughout history, as well as some promises He has yet to act on.

Indeed, God the Lord guarantees that all of this revelation will come to pass! Compare Mt 5:18 with 2 Tim 3:16.]

Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.”
‭‭I Kings‬ ‭8:56‬ ‭

God fulfills the promises He Makes.
He promised to bring the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage and give them a land flowing with milk and honey – the “promised land” of milk and honey.

Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you— ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’ Deuteronomy 6:3

Joshua 21:45 tells us, There failed no part of any good thing which the Lord had promised to the house of Israel; all came to pass.
Joshua 21:45

Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection are among the numerous other promises that we can see brought to completion.

God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in the holy Scriptures. (Romans 1:2)

Isaiah says, “The Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14).

Just look at this small sampling of the Old Testament prophesies fulfilled by Jesus:

Adam and Eve were promised that a Savior would one day come and crush the serpent’s head (Genesis 3:15).

The promised Messiah would be born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14).

He would be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2).

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. Matthew 8:17

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.”
Isaiah 53:4-5

He would be anointed by the Holy Spirit to perform miracles (Isaiah 35:4-6, 61:1-3).

He would be betrayed by a friend for 30 pieces of silver (Psalm 55:12-14, Zechariah 11:12).

He would be rejected by His own people and then wounded, bruised, and pierced as the sacrifice for our sins (Isaiah 53:1-12, Psalm 22:16).

He would rise from the dead and then ascend to the right hand of God in Heaven (Psalm 16:10, 68:18, 110:1).

These promises are fulfilled in the coming of Jesus.

In the final 24 hours of Jesus’ life, 29 specific Old Testament prophesies were fulfilled, and these amazing predictions came through several different people over the course of five centurieos from 1000 to 500 BC.

God is Eternally Faithful

So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11)

Listen, if you want to determine someone’s reliability, you simply must look at their track record.

Yes, from the time of the first existence of day and from this day forth I am He; From eternity to eternity I am God. No one who can deliver or snatch anyone out of My hand. I will work, and no none can hinder or reverse it? No one can undo what I have done. (Isaiah 43:13)

The same God who fulfilled His promises in intricate detail in the life of His Son Jesus will be faithful to fulfill every promise of His Word for YOU today!

Just as your Heavenly Father could look down through the centuries and foresee the details of Jesus’ life, nothing in your life is catching Him by surprise.

All the promises in His Word are true for you (2 Corinthians 1:18-20), and He is able to work everything together for your good (Romans 8:28).

My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.”
Psalms 89:34

Numbers 23:19 tells us, “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?”

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
I John 5:14

And since we know that He hears whatever we ask, we also know with settled and absolute knowledge that we have granted us the requests made of Him. 1 John 5:15

Listen, If we are faithless, do not believe and are untrue to Him, He remains true, faithful to His Word and His righteous character, for He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2:13

God is a God who always keeps His promises!

God is faithful, reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our LORD. (1 Corinthians 1:9)

So hold fast without wavering to the hope you have In God and His Word of Promise that you confess and acknowledgement, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His Word.
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭
