This week on the Her Story Her Journey podcast, we spotlight Evangelist LaQwonna “Lady Q” Glaster who’s a certified Life Coach and also a creative.

She shared how she had to pull on the EXTRA inside of her when she experienced sexual, verbal, and emotional abuse at a young age. This led to her feeling unloved and unwanted and looking to fill the hole in her heart. In her own words, this led to her “ looking for love in the wrong places” and only resulted in her feeling even more unloved and abandoned.

In a moment of hopelessness, she attempted to end the pain by attempting suicide….several times. But hope came in the form of her son… and she sought therapy as a way to build a healthy sense of self.

She later founded Sisters of Faith, an organization that focuses on helping women come out of brokenness.
