Lexi is an entrepreneur living on a ranch in Kansas with her four kids. She discussed her busy life with Ashley, including her kids' sports and their upcoming move to her husband's multi-generation family farm. She is excited for the transition, but life is still hectic and full of energy with her kids.

Lexi's story is inspiring to those trying to juggle all aspects of their life, showing that it is possible to do it all. The speaker is a ranch wife in Kansas and she and her husband are the sixth generation of his family to work the land. She grew up in an ag-focused community, but it wasn't her family's livelihood. She studied horticulture and is passionate about teaching people how to homestead. On the ranch, they have cattle, goats, chickens, and Australian Shepherd stock dogs. They also plan on planting corn this summer. She loves to bring people along for the journey and show them the successes and failures that come with the homesteading process. Her goal is to be able to produce her own food and teach others how to do the same. Lexi recently experienced a failure in the building of a chicken tractor out of PVC pipe. The chickens had become free range when the chicken tractor failed, making it difficult to find their eggs. The speaker now has a new chicken coop and is continuing to supply their daycare, family, and a few other families with eggs. Learning from their mistake, the speaker is now planning to use the PVC pipe to build a cold frame and grow extended season crops.

Lexi loves her purple top Ariat boots because she wears them to work and ride. She also has a pair of Macy Bean floral, embroidered boots that she got married in and tries to keep them nice. She remembers her first pair of cowboy boots she got from her grandpa when she was around three or four years old. They were all white with a pointed toe and white fringe, with stars or hearts on them with an iridescent backing. The boots didn't light up, as light up boots were not available at the time.
