A High Surf Advisory is up for all north-facing shores, so be ready for some exciting rides! The west-facing shores will keep a slight bump from the north swell until Tuesday. Over on the east side, things are getting choppy with those trade winds picking up and some fun wrap-around from the north swell.
For our northern friends in Kauai, the surf is looking solid, with waves in the 14-18 feet range for north-facing shores and 4-6 feet for east-facing shores. Expect scattered showers tonight, but Tuesday looks much sunnier with some sweet surf to catch.
Moving over to Oahu, we've got the same story with a High Surf Advisory for north shores. Waves will be pumping at 14-18 feet up north and 5-7 feet on the east. Watch out for some scattered showers tonight, but Tuesday promises some great surfing weather!
Now onto Maui, where the north shores will have waves in the 14-18 feet range and the east shores at 5-7 feet. Keep an eye out for those scattered showers tonight, then get ready for some fantastic surf on Tuesday.
Lastly, Big Island, Windward, and Southeast, with the north shores at 14-18 feet and east shores at 5-7 feet. It's mostly cloudy tonight, but Tuesday looks like a great day for catching some waves!
And for Big Island Leeward, the west shores are looking at 4-6 feet, so get your boards ready for some fun! The south-facing shores will also have waves in the 2-4 feet range. Expect some scattered showers tonight, but Tuesday is shaping up to be a beautiful day to hit the water.
Remember, surf heights can vary along the coastline, so keep an eye out for rip currents and always swim near a lifeguard. Be safe and have a blast out there!
