According to Forbes.com, in life things rarely seem to happen in a well-timed, spaced-out fashion; they usually happen all at once. Professional stress and personal problems often collide, making you feel unsteady, overwhelmed, and alone. Initial inclinations are usually our worst instincts, skipping exercise, eating & drinking food that drains our energy. If you feel like life is spiraling out of control, take a deep breath, and follow these five steps that will help you maintain your sanity and take care of yourself: 1) Get Outside: Getting some fresh air, sunshine and a walk will help clear your mind and help reset your body as you prepare to get back to work. take 15-20 minutes go for a walk, rejuvenate. 2) Get Some Exercise: When life gets busy the first thing that usually gets sacrificed is our workout. Exercise is important & gives us more energy throughout the day. . Exercise sharpens your mind, improves your focus & your attention span. Take little time for yourself, move that body and exercise. You will feel so much better. 3) Eat Well And Hydrate: A terrible instinct many people have is to binge on salty or sweet treats when stressed. When you're stretched thin you need every ounce of energy in your tank, don't waste it eating unhealthy snacks & sodas. 4) Celebrate Your Wins: When everything seems to be going wrong, you're not operating @ full capacity. You're not as productive, upbeat, or as happy with yourself. That's OK, it's normal--now forgive yourself. Some days, Celebrate your wins, big and small. It's about moving forward: one problem, one project, one day at a time. 5) Ask For Help: You don't have to bear it alone. If you are going through a personal issue or some trauma, reach out to family, friends, or a therapist and work through it. Everyone needs help to manage things.
