This story tells of a mischievous monkey who angers a tiger with a teasing song and then repeatedly outsmarts him, escaping capture multiple times. When a drought forces all animals to a single watering hole guarded by the vengeful tiger, the thirsty monkey must use his wits to survive. He devises clever disguises, first covering himself in honey and leaves (which fails when the leaves wash off in the water), and then successfully using sticky resin and leaves to create a durable disguise.
