### Best Lures and Bait
For Rockfish and other bottom dwellers, using squid or anchovies as bait is highly effective. For Halibut and White Seabass, try using live bait such as sardines or smelt. If you're targeting Yellowtail or Bluefin Tuna, lures like jigs or surface iron can be very productive.

One of the hot spots right now is around the Channel Islands, particularly near Anacapa Island where boats like the **Stardust** have been having great success with Rockfish.
