Born in Rwanda in 1991, Espérance is a writer, activist and radio host who grew up in Brescia, in the north of Italy. In our time together we talk about the meaning of losing her first home; being adopted internationally and interracially in the north of Italy; writing her vivid and personal experience while making waves in the national cultural conversation with her first book “E poi basta”; why she never returned to Rwanda and the three things that helped her build a habitat for herself.
