This week on Inspire Change, Gunter discusses the importance of storytelling in mental health and society and he highlights from his upcoming first novel Mountains of the Sea from Winterwolf Press that is currently on sale for pre-order and will be released globally in stores and online retailers on June 1, 2021.

Mountains of the Sea is the first novel from Australian psychologist, speaker, mentor and podcast host, Gunter Swoboda. In the age of “Me Too” and “Times-Up, Swoboda weaves a story about a young man, Walter Beaumont, raised in privilege, but breaking out of the comfort zone and becoming something greater than himself.

Here is what the critics are saying about GunterSwoboda’s Mountains of the Sea:
"Visually enticing, with a very masculine, but fractured lead character trying to find his way that many young men can relate too...the story arc's strong thematic and through-line keeps you engaged all the way to the last page." - New York Times

"His aim is to stimulate your mind, touch your heart, and inspire your soul." - Authority Magazine

"Stunning fictional account of a young man's journey that includes a historical and cultural
lesson." - Reader, ICM Partners

"The author has crafted a story that allows readers to understand the early conflicts between Europeans and Pacific Islanders from both perspectives, and for this alone it is worth following Walter in his life-changing adventure." - Cheryl Ann Toliver, author of Wilderness Refuge: A Prophet's Kingdom

"I never wanted to put this story down...a great south sea tale with vibrant
characters and well described locations." - Charles G. London, Amazon Critic

"Mountains of the Sea is a heart-pounding journey...I got so involved in the struggles of Walter Beaumont's attempts to become accepted into the culture that I found myself feeling I was also in the story with him." - Angelo Thomas Crapanzano, author of A Different Time, A Different Earth

"Never before have I experienced a historical novel
this exciting...Gunter has blended wonderfully his
enthusiasm of adventure into a beautifully crafted story." - GoodReads.com

Mountains of the Sea can be preordered up til June 1st at any story or online retailer: In the US at Target, Barnes and Noble Books A Million Walmart Amazon; in Australia at Dymocks and Booktopia. After June 1st it will be everywhere globally in paperback and eBook.
