Country artist Ryan Guillet was born and raised in Chetwynd, British Columbia, lived in Grand Prairie, Alberta and now calls Penticton, BC home. Through his teens and early twenties, he entered local talent contests including the Country Rising Competition at Edmonton's Cook County Saloon where he placed 3rd. In February 2009, he released his debut CD "Livin'" with the title-track being released to radio at the same time. It was played on over 30 stations across Canada. Later that year, Ryan released another single "Slow You Down". This talented singer/songwriter is a true fan of Country Music and writes his songs from real life experiences that he or someone he knows has gone through. Ryan pays a visit to In The Country to talk about his music career and to share some of his songs and the stories behind them.
