The NCAA-mandated Dead Period in recruiting has lasted close to a year, and had an absolutely massive impact on thousands of high school football players across the nation, as well as every college football program.

But now, there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. A report released Wednesday indicates that the NCAA could be close to ending the Dead Period and allowing recruits to start taking unofficial and official visits once again.

That's a decision that could make a direct impact on the top player in the entire 2021 class, defensive lineman JT Tuimoloau, who is strongly considering Ohio State right now.
