Katy Dolle is a lot of things, including crying behind her sunglasses after a rough therapy session or two. She's also a filmmaker and actress based in LA, and most recently has started her own mental health podcast, Crying Behind Sunglasses.

Katy discusses the loss of her dad, and the impact it had on her life. Her father made the choice to leave their family when she and her brother were little. After dealing with this initial loss and abandonment, she had planned to get back in touch with her father after she turned 18 - but that chance was taken from her when her father passed away due to effects of alcoholism.
