El: Το καράβι έφτασε αργά στη Σαντορίνη.
En: The ship arrived late in Santorini.

El: Βγήκαν στο λιμάνι ο Αλέξιος, η Δήμητρα και η Κατερίνα γελαστοί και γεμάτοι ενθουσιασμό.
En: Alexios, Dimitra, and Katerina disembarked at the port, smiling and full of excitement.

El: Η Δήμητρα κοίταξε τον ουρανό και είπε, "Τι όμορφη η μέρα!
En: Dimitra looked at the sky and said, "What a beautiful day!"

El: "Περπατούσαν προς την Αρχαία Θήρα.
En: They walked towards Ancient Thira.

El: "Ιστορία και ηφαίστειο," σκέφτηκε ο Αλέξιος.
En: "History and volcano," Alexios thought.

El: "Μαγεία μαζί.
En: "Magic combined."

El: " Η Κατερίνα κρατούσε το χέρι της μητέρας της.
En: Katerina held her mother's hand.

El: "Τι είναι αυτά τα ερείπια, μητέρα;
En: "What are these ruins, mother?"

El: " ρώτησε.
En: she asked.

El: Η Δήμητρα χαμογέλασε.
En: Dimitra smiled.

El: "Εδώ, παλιά, ζούσαν σπουδαίοι άνθρωποι.
En: "Here, in the past, great people lived.

El: Είχαν σπίτια, ναούς και αγορές.
En: They had houses, temples, and markets."

El: " Κούνησε το κεφάλι της.
En: She shook her head.

El: "Έγινε ένας μεγάλος σεισμός.
En: "A big earthquake happened.

El: Καταστράφηκαν.
En: They were destroyed."

El: "Ανέβηκαν τα σκαλιά σιγά-σιγά.
En: They slowly climbed the stairs.

El: Στον δρόμο τους, είδαν παλιούς τοίχους και μωσαϊκά.
En: Along their way, they saw old walls and mosaics.

El: Η Κατερίνα κοίταζε προσεκτικά.
En: Katerina looked carefully.

El: "Μπορώ να φανταστώ τα παιδιά εδώ να παίζουν.
En: "I can imagine the children here playing."

El: "Φτάνοντας στην κορυφή, η θέα ήταν υπέροχη.
En: Reaching the top, the view was wonderful.

En: Sea in front and the whole of Santorini around.

El: "Η ομορφιά και η ιστορία μαζί," είπε ο Αλέξιος.
En: "Beauty and history together," Alexios said.

El: Πήγαν στο ηφαίστειο το απόγευμα.
En: In the afternoon, they went to the volcano.

El: "Είναι ακόμα ενεργό;
En: "Is it still active?"

El: " ρώτησε η Κατερίνα.
En: Katerina asked.

El: Ο Αλέξιος γέλασε.
En: Alexios laughed.

El: "Μην φοβάσαι.
En: "Don't be afraid.

El: Είναι ήσυχο σήμερα.
En: It's quiet today."

El: "Κράτησαν αναμνηστικά από τα μαγαζιά.
En: They bought souvenirs from the shops.

El: Μικρά αγαλματίδια και κεραμικά πιάτα.
En: Small statues and ceramic plates.

El: "Να θυμόμαστε πάντα τη μέρα εδώ," είπε η Δήμητρα.
En: "To always remember this day," Dimitra said.

El: Το βράδυ, κάθισαν σε ένα εστιατόριο.
En: In the evening, they sat in a restaurant.

El: Έφαγαν φρέσκο ψάρι και ήπιαν το λευκό κρασί της Σαντορίνης.
En: They ate fresh fish and drank Santorini's white wine.

El: Ο ήλιος έδυε αργά στον ορίζοντα.
En: The sun set slowly on the horizon.

El: "Η πιο ωραία μέρα," είπε η Κατερίνα με χαμόγελο.
En: "The best day," Katerina said with a smile.
