The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast is very excited to announce that we are starting a podcast spin-off for its coverage of America’s Got Talent (AGT): Season 16.

The podcast, Jake’s Take’s AGT Season 16 Special, will feature conversations with some standout acts that successfully auditioned in front of the judges. I want to give a very special shoutout to both Fremantle (AGT’s production company) and NBC for giving jakes-take.com and The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast the opportunity to speak with these amazing acts.

Singing trio 1aChord is the latest act that I had the opportunity to speak with this season. During the first week of America’s Got Talent: Season 16’s Judges Auditions, 1aChord (Christoff Hairston, Tavis Cummingham, and Julian Kennedy) blew the judges (Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel) with their powerful interpretation of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro students received a standing ovation and advanced to the next round. In the latest edition of the Jake’s Take’s AGT Season 16 Special, 1aChord relived their audition and shared what winning the NBC long-running talent competition meant to them.
